Professional film manufacturer Longdapac has launched a new PE mono-material barrier solution.
This transparent barrier film combines Longdapac films’ sealing technology and barrier coating process, which can be used to replace film VMPET. Its water vapor transmittance (WVTR), oxygen transmittance (OTR), and barrier aroma performance are on par with them.
This film is composed of PE mono-material and is designed to meet the requirements of CEFLEX and HOW2RECYCLE’s circular economy design standards. It can be surface printed, with excellent wear resistance, high gloss, stable anti slip and barrier properties. In addition, it is said that the film is alcohol resistant and suitable for packaging some baked goods.
This high barrier PE laminated to inner PE, it can be use for 100% recyclable high barrier mono-material PE pouches.
The laminated PE/PE film can be produced at high speed on horizontal filling sealing (HFFS) packaging equipment.
